Business Communication (20 hours) Tuition Fee: 4,000 Baht


                     

Course Description
     Business Communication is designed to provide individuals with English as a second language who wish to improve their spoken business communication skills. The course covers business interview, presentation, persuasion and sales. Content of this course can be used to prepare for applying for a job, attending international program or studying abroad.

     The course focuses on developing attendees’ skills in understanding and using conversational English in business communication situations. Topics includes practicing appropriate language to perform moderately complex real-world tasks such as participating in an interview, preparing and making presentation and performing persuasive sales speech of products, brands or services.

     The course is suitable for attendees who are:
     • Business owners
     • Corporation executives and employees
     • Students
     • Interested individuals who are required to use English regularly

Course Objective
     • Developing business English communication skills for use in environment both inside and outside workplace
     • Increasing vocabulary, conversational skills and improving pronunciation
     • Building experience and exposure necessary to develop confidence in speaking English in various business situations and scenarios

Course Duration
     20 hours (8 weeks – 2.5 hours per week)

Prerequisites
     Individuals with ability to speak and understand some English

     Business Communication for Management is designed to provide managers, executives, and interested individuals with English as a second language who wish to improve speaking fluency and accuracy. The course covers meeting, presentation, speeches, negotiations, conflicts and delivering unfavorable messages. Content of this course can be used to improve managerial or academic communication skills; suitable especially for executives, students in higher level international academic program locally or abroad.

     The course focuses on developing attendees’ skills in understanding and using conversational English in business management situations. Topics includes practicing appropriate language to perform fairly complex real-world tasks such as conducting meetings, making presentations, delivering speeches, performing negotiation with others, resolving conflicts and confrontations and announcing unfavorable news gracefully.

Course Description
     Business Communication for Professionals is designed to provide professionals and interested individuals with English as a second language who wish to improve their spoken communication skills. The course covers communication scenarios for in-depth oral communication skills in the field of Health Care, Financial Services, Tourism and Information Technology. Terminology and vocabulary used are designed for real-world professional use.

     This course focuses on developing attendees’ skills and strategies in understanding and using conversational English in situations specific to certain professions. Attendees engage in real-world tasks of moderate level of complexity such as obtaining medical services from physicians, placing an order at a restaurant, performing transaction at financial institutions, making travel plans and requesting services relating to information technology.
